“One-Man Mysteries” (for Children)

#1—“The Case of the Broken Cookie Jar” (for Children & Families)

The 4 Johnson kids are left home alone while Mom takes Grandma to run errands. They are left with a note from Mom telling them what they are to do while she is gone and what they are NOT to do while she is gone. Mom was excited to both find and bring home an antique cookie jar recently upon finding it at Grandma’s House. She’s loved having it in her own home and every time she looks at it she’s reminded of when her and her mother would bake cookies together and put them in the cookie jar. While she’s gone, the cookie jar is knocked off the counter and broken. When she calls home to check on the kids, no one will give her a straight answer on what has happened to the cookie jar. She calls in “Detective Dean” so that he can figure out “whodunnit” before Mom gets home.
